River Rapids Pet is seeking a PT Associate Veterinarian to join our team.
Requirements:
- Active license in good standing to practice veterinary medicine in Minnesota
- Experience: 3+ years (Required)
Salary to be determined by the schedule and experience of the applicant
Clinic Hours: M-F (8am-4pm) Work 1, 2, 3 or 4 days per week (your choice)

VETERINARY ASSISTANT
Job Overview
As a Veterinary Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting veterinarians and veterinary technicians in providing care to animals. This position requires a passion for animal welfare and a willingness to work in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will want to stay busy and look for ways they can help their teammates.
Responsibilities
- Assist veterinarians and technicians during examinations and treatments
- Maintain cleanliness and organization inside the hospital and outside on hospital grounds
- Help lift heavy pets
- Assist with laboratory procedures and diagnostic testing
Skills
- Experience in animal handling/restraint and dog walking is required
- Fear Free handling techniques are preferred, but can be taught if you are unfamiliar
- Previous experience in a veterinary hospital or clinic setting is preferred
Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 24 – 40 per week
